Whitewater Rafting Jasper was established in 1971 and is Canada's original whitewater company. Offering trips aboard two- to eight-person rafts, this company is staffed by Parks-licensed guides. Wet suits, booties, life jackets and rain gear are provided. Class 2 Athabasca River with round trip transport from Jasper is suitable for all: Mile 5 (2 hrs; 10am, 1pm, 4pm; $59, 6-12 $29.50; 3rd child+ $14.50), and Athabasca Falls (3-3.5 hrs; 9am, 1pm; $79, 6-12 $39.50; 3rd child+ $19.75).
