Marmot Basin offers downhill skiing, boarding and telemarking on uncrowded slopes with varied terrain and spectacular scenery. 1675 acres of bowls, glades and groomed runs are serviced by two quads (1 express), 1 triple and 3 double chairs, 1 T-bar, 1 platter and new magic carpet. Base and mid-mountain day lodges offer sun decks and serve hearty food and refreshing drinks. Facilities include a snowboard park, ski shop, rentals, ski school, mountain tours and a nursery. Shuttle service from townsite hotels.

An excellent family ski hill called Wapiti Ski Hill is open for the season. This beautiful location offers ski rentals and is perfect for a family day of excellent skiing. To get there turn north off Hwy 3 at Sparwood and take Hwy 43 to Elkford - you won't be disappointed.
